When you install Paperbot on Slack and invite it to your channels, it automatically starts collecting the links you share from that day on. But what about the links shared before the bot was added to the channel?

With the new rewind command, you can ask Paperbot to access your channels history and restore previously shared links. It will bring back up to 500 of your most recently shared links for each channel.

Here's how it works:

1. Make sure Paperbot is invited to the channel you'd like to restore

2. From the channel, type the command

@paperbot rewind

3. Paperbot will notify you via Direct Message if permission is needed to access the channel.

If prompted, click Authorize to grant access.

4. Paperbot will confirm via Direct Message when your request is submitted.

And once again, when your request is complete.

Voilà! All you have to do now is log into web.paperbot.ai to view your link history.

Pretty cool, right? Give it a try and let us know what you think!
